Our Mission

Nāmo Amitābha Buddha

Mission StatementHongaku Mikkyō Jōdo is dedicated to awakening the inherent enlightenment within all beings by integrating the wisdom of Vajrayāna and Mikkyō with the boundless compassion of Jōdo. Through profound meditation, mantra, ritual, and contemplative inquiry, we cultivate inner and outer peace, guiding individuals toward liberation while actively fostering harmony in the world. We uphold the view that all beings are already endowed with awakening and that the path is a process of unveiling this innate realization.
Vision StatementWe envision a world where the principles of non-dual wisdom and limitless compassion illuminate every aspect of life, creating communities rooted in awareness, kindness, and liberation. Hongaku Mikkyō Jōdo seeks to bridge ancient esoteric traditions with contemporary understanding, offering transformative practices that heal, empower, and inspire. By fostering a global network of practitioners, we aspire to bring forth a renaissance of authentic Dharma adapted to modern times—preserving its depth while making it accessible to all who seek truth, peace, and awakening.
